My Sister's Baby

My Sisters Baby collects no money but we ask you to donate directly to established organisations.

Please use the links on this page to visit these organisations which we have researched and which we can vouch for. These teams are doing the work and you can make it possible for them to have the resources to do it better and to offer it to more mothers and their babies.

The Barbara May Foundation is already providing care in Ethiopia and Tanzania to thousands of women and is partnering to build new obstetric hospitals in South Sudan. They are providing safe pregnancy and birthing care and providing expertise to treat and to avoid complications. Their director, Dr Andrew Browning is an Australian Obstetrician who is a world recognised expert on the management of fistulas, a crippling complication of obstructed labour.

They work in partnership to tackle maternal mortality by providing safe births for approximately 3000 women a year, including pre and post-natal care and education.
